Worst Vodacom upgrade service ever

I am currently experiencing the worst service from Vodacom I have ever had, being a loyal paying contract customer for about 5 years now.

Firstly, went to upgrade on a top up data plan and a recurring plan was selected by the consultant by mistake, causing that I cannot load airtime or check my airtime balance at all. The full debit order was deducted and I did receive data as promised, but I could not load airtime or check my balance.

Upon querying, I was told a recurring plan was selected and when correcting it I would lose the deal / offer that was valid only until 31 March 2019 (when the plan was selected incorrectly by the consultant) and I'd have to pay for another debit order for the new plan as well. I accepted this fate because of the sincere appologies from the consultant, who promised to log a reverse and call me once it was resolved.

After receiving SMS's that the query was completed, I attempted to get the correct contract loaded another day as the airtime issue was still not resolved and I was told that I had to wait another 2 days as the store manager had to reverse the quote before the new plan could be loaded and that I would be contacted by them once it was resolved.

Calling the store after 3 days of no feedback, I was told I had to come in store myself (after asking if it is needed). Don't know how long I'd have to wait this time or what excuse they'll have now. In the meantime I cannot make calls or sent SMS's as everything will pile up to a huge bill that will simply be debited from my account.

I am really frustrated with this issue and would like some feedback from the management / head offices. This service is pathetic and unacceptable

Thank you. The consultant has contacted me now and said the quote on my account was from an unknown branch on 5 April and I confirmed it was not requested by me. They contacted head office and they said they would sort it out on their side and I will be notified again once it's resolved.

Thank you for responding. The quote is apparently still open and we must wait for it to be closed before my correct (Top up) contract can be loaded. Could you please follow up so I can be able to top up airtime and view my balances, or please advise if there's another route I can follow. Will it help to contact customer care telephonically? Thank you

UPDATE: I went to the store again yesterday and the quote was reversed on the system so the consultant was able to log a new request to change the contract to top-up
