Worst Vodacom #BlackFriday Experience Ever - Not Suprised now when I see the Reviews

#BlackFriday experience ever. Vodacom TV deal came without the TV and they said that how they deliver upfront and the invoice I had to sign TV was listed.

I didn't take the order from Skynet, but I phoned Vodacom for clarity - that's when I got clarity that there was a voucher inside the first order for the TV. Rearranged for the parcel to be delivered again after I got clarity - that's where my nightmare started.

I was promised it would be delivered on Friday same week, but there were no further communication from both Vodacom and Skynet.

Kept making followup with Vodacom, but they lacked sense of care and urgency - everyone never kept their promises. Some people asked me to contact Skynet even though they knew they were also unable to reach Skynet.

The order was then returned back to Vodacom (only got notified by SMS) - when I followed up with Vodacom, they told if I still need the service I'll have to reapply again and I will only be able to apply for what is available now.

I thought services has improved for #BlackFriday specials - I guess was wrong if big organization like Vodacom fail to keep the promises they make and push the blame the poor service to the service provider

Reviewer Update
Hi Vodacom,

Thank you for your feedback and for reaching out even though no effective help was provided.

You statement below is also incorrect:

"during the ordering process, it was clearly stated that the customer would receive a voucher and need to scan the QR code to redeem the TV."

The initial advert didn't mention the QR code process, this was updated later - my colleague at work who already had an active contract with you ordered one of the similar packages he also didn't see that part.

The option instructions to redeem the TV using a voucher was added few days later just above the FUP lines - this was probably done after most customers like me we confused with the process.

One of your agents also called me to to validate everything before the order was released to Skynet - they also failed to mantion this process (check your "recorded calls").

On the summarized response shared, I'm painted as the bad guy and Skynet is not mention anywhere (which I was repeatedly told to contact, was unreachable as they were having technical issues) and the fact that I made multiple calls following up - promises were made that I was going to contacted back and they were never kept. Instead, the number I used to call with for follow ups has been blocked by Vodacom to call *** due to that I was calling it a lot.

If an organization of your size consider this as a resolution to what you put me through - we're doomed as South Africans.

There is no sense of care from how I was treated (except everyone telling me how sorry they are with what I experienced and they can't help).

ACTIONS TALK LOUDER THAN WORDS

I might not matter now because I'm just "another useless customer" - the tomorrow is unknown and I'll never forget this.
You hit me where it hurt most - making me looked like I **** to my family as I never delivered the promise I made them.
