Worst upgrade "service". Ever!

I say "Service", because it is almost magical. And by magical, I mean NON-EXISTENT!

Come on Vodacom, I have been a customer for almost Twenty years (with two different numbers during that time span). This has got to be the worst customer service I've ever experienced. I tried to do an upgrade online last week Friday (Huawei P9), and logged into my profile. It did not upgrade the line I selected, but rather, my main line. I immediately called the call centre to rectify and was told to call another number. I tried that number and could not get through to anyone since they had closed at 2pm.

I called on Saturday to rectify and spoke with Nkuna. She "corrected" the order and said i will receive a call from the confirmation department before the order is despatched.

On Monday, I received a call from the most confused consultant ever (Kego). Nevertheless, it was a colossal waste of twelve minutes- she could not assist one bit. She did however, say that someone will call to confirm the order.

I received a call on Wednesday morning from Buthali to confirm the order. Suprise suprise, it was captured incorrectly (Huawei p9 lite). She said she would cancel it and try to get someone to confirm by the end of Wednesday. Wednesday and Thursday have passed and NO confirmation call.

I currently have four personal contacts and one business contact with Vodacom. Maybe it's time to re-evaluate my loyalty to your brand!

Check the call logs on Saturday to confirm that the order was captured incorrectly by your consultant (Nkuna). I rated her service as outstanding (thinking that the order was captured correctly), however, I wish there was a way to change that, because it's far from that!

Vodacom, how are you meant to be a leading service provider, if this is the level of incompetence delivered by your staff. It's been a FULL WEEK since this whole process started and the promise of "next day delivery" has not been fulfilled.

Terrible, just terrible!

Dear vodacom

Thank you for the automated response.

What timeframe is "in due course"? This has been going on for a week now.
