Worst Service Provider Evvvvvver! is my contract over yet??

I am on a TopUp account with "Wonderful" Vodacom. I chose this contract for the reason that I wanted to be in control of exactly how much airtime/data I spend and I did not want any "surprises" at the end of each month.

I saw something brewing on MyVodacom when I logged in to check my data usage. I gave customer care a call at the beginning of August and they assured me that my usual amount would be debited at the end of the month. The customer care agent continued to tell me that the amount of almost double that was reflected was just my debit order that had not reflected yet. I accepted what they were telling me and thanked them for there help and assistance and even rated there service as excellent.

Well this month I was "Surprised" with a debit order going off for more than R600.00 in comparison to my monthly R308.50 debit order. I was extremely confused as I am on TopUp therefore I determine what I spend and buy. OH BUT WAS I WRONG! I gave customer care a call and was attended to by thee most rude agent I have ever come across (she would make a good prison warden). She told me that the re-occuring monthly data bundle that I purchased was actually added to your account and it did not debit from your airtime like a once off data bundle. Firstly, I cannot understand this thought process for a TopUp account. Secondly, when purchasing Re-Occuring data bundles NO where does it make mention that this will be added to your monthly bill and not deducted from your airtime. Thirdly, well done Vodacom because there is not a F#%*ing thing you can do about it as the agent confirmed with me "we WILL debit your account".

Unlucky me. Will have to pay this surprise again at the end of the month because "Did you know that you can agree to purchase Re-occurring data bundles by dialing *111# but you can only cancel them through calling once of Vodacoms friendly agents?" Aren't we all lucky??

So not only does Vodacom ***** your data and get away with it. They now ***** your Money too. (Round of applause and cheer for Vodacom ------ NOOOOOT)
