Worst Service Provider Ever!!!!!
I did my upgrade with vodacom on the 28th November 2021. It was a 24 month contract agreed for a Huawei Nova 8i. I was told by the consultant Ashika Naidoo that there was stock. Only to find out 30 minutes after agreeing on the contract via sms that there was no stock. After several calls and days later i was told that stock arrived and the phone was going to be delivered. I got the phone on the first week in December. After 3 weeks using the phone it started freezing and rebooting. I called 135 and they advised me take it in to Vodacom Repair Centre Umhlanga. So i booked the phone in with the agent. I clearly told him that i dont want the phone repaired and want it replaced as this was still under warranty. A few days passed and i called the repair centre only to find out that the phone had been repaired and the motherboard was replaced. The phone was being delivered back to Durban by freight. I called the consultant at Vodacom Repair Centre and questioned why the phone was repaired and not replaced. He said that this was policy to repair first. I told him that i clearly did not want a repaired phone as im paying for a new unit. He called me a few days later and told me to collect the new phone. I collected it in January 2022. I used the new phone Huawei Nova 8i for a week and it started doing the same thing, freezing and rebooting. I called Vodacom Repair Centre and the same consultant asked me to record the phone freezing. I asked him how was this possible as i have only one phone. He then asked me to bring it in and he will have it on test and record it freezing. The following day after dropping the phone off he confirmed that it is freezing. He sent it back in. I asked him if i could change the brand of phone. He said i could, so i chose the Samsung A52s only to tell me that there is no stock. During this time i was constantly on calls with 135 call centre only yo hear that i was being charged for a 36 month contract. I queried this and asked for the voice recording of the contract. This was never sent to me. They said they would listen to it and adjust term. To date this has not been done. So i asked for this contract to be cancelled. I called 135 and *** over 30 times. The consultant either cut me off, laughed at me or got their peers to pose as managers. Vodacom call centre agents are the most unqualified, most ******** people. I actually question the level of intelligence of these people. Its disgusting how clients are treated. I told them the phone was returned to Vodacom Repair Centre Umhlanga. The 135 consultant asked me to fetch the phone and they arranged the collection for the 14th March. I called Ram Couriers after 2pm on the Monday 14 March and no pickup was scheduled. That was the last straw. I posted on facebook about their pathetic service. I was contacted the same day by their social media department. The consultant Yandi Dilima assured me she will call me back with regards to the collection of the phone. 2 days later i received feedback collection was for the 22 March. I questioned upon collecting the phone how long would cancellation of the contract take. I was told 24 to 48 hours. I called Ram Couriers last week who told me the phone was booked in with Vodacom last Wednesday at 9am. Its been a week and i have received no positive feedback. Every time i email social media department they getting someone to call me back, or they waiting for term dates to be adjusted. All i want is for this contract to be cancelled and my number back on prepaid so i can go to another service provider. I guess this is the service one gets for being with a company from 2017. Service received from Vodacom is pathetic and disgusting but nobody gives a **** even if you complain.
