Worst service provider ever

On the 7th of Dec 2016 we went to Vodacom to upgrade at Wonderpark. When we got there the consultant advised us that he suggests that we come on the 8th because the new deals will be available on the 8th. When my husband went on the 8th to upgrade my contract for me the very same consultant told myvhusband we would need to take the previous months deal on the phone that I wanted because they have not yet received the sealed units with the bluetooth speaker, topdog school voucher, etc. And if we want the deal as per the booklet of the 8th we will need to wait about a week for them to receive the sealed units. Not only is it unprofessional to turn a customer away when they are there for business but to turn a customer away for a second time or advise them that they should take the deal that they were initially there for the first time but they tell you that you need to wait a week if you want the new deal. Clearly Vodacom is not serious about their business. We took the deal as per the previous book but lost out on most of the freebies that was offered on the new deals including the bluetooth speaker and the other vouchers,we only got the 5GB data which was only loaded on the 1st of January 2017. Now comes the real reason why I am upset. On the 28th of January I dialed *111# to check my balance which is option 1 and then did a detailed request to check my balance which was by then over 2.odd GB and it gave me the expiry date of 01/03/2017. On the 1st of Feb when I started on my new package and we checked my balance all of my data was missing, all of the data that should have expired on the 1st of March 2017. My husband has phoned Vodacom 4times and my problem is still not resolved. And as per the last communication today when we phoned and spoke to the forensic department that the message I receive regarding the expiry date was reflecting an incorrect date. So how professional is Vodacom if they send out incorrect details on your enquiries about your balances. Not only do I now want my data back but I also want Vodacom to understand that I have a contract which is supposed to offer me certain services which I am not receiving and because I was relying on the data that will only expire in March but I had to incur additional costs to load data on my phone because of my data that just dissappeared. And I feel Vodacom did not act fairly interms of the consumer protection act for advertising a product but was unable to deliver it in full. It was misleading and the fact that we had to go twice to upgrade as to where we could've upgraded on the deal without the freebies. As I am standing here I am very regretful that I upgraded the contract in stead of cancelling it. I hope that they understand that we will be closing all our contracts as we go and we will move to another service provider and should any body ask our opionion about them we will advise them to make use of any other provider than Vodacom
