Worst Service imaginable
I have had the worst possible experience with vodacom.
When i initially created my account, all i wanted was a Sony xperia x mini, with a topup contract. So that's what i got, when my first debit order comes off. I'm paying close to 3 times as much as in my contract, and notice I'm paying for 3 cellphones when i go to a branch to investigate. not exactly sure how they got that right, but after a visit to vodacom blue route city, they assured me the problem was rectified. the next month, same story, somehow paying for 3 phones on my single phone contract. Many calls and visits later, they once again insure me this has been rectified. again and again it happens. after 4 months of billing me 3 times as much as i agreed to, and visiting at least 3 branches, it was finally rectified at century city vodacom (or some chain of command) my bill returns to regular expected price. hear absolutely nothing about the extra money they billed me. i asked a couple times, they say i will be credited (nobody says when)
about 2 years passed. and its the end of my contract time. where is my credit? vodacom phones me to tell me my account is in arrears (i have a debit order that goes off every month, so im not sure how that could have happened), i ask about my credit. apparently they have no record of my credit. i tell them to please figure it out.
over the span of the next 6 weeks (mid jan through to feb 2019) i get at least 4 calls a day but not weekends , mostly when i answer all i hear is silence, or a dialing tone as if I've made the call. literally only 2 of the times i answer there is someone else on the other end. one of them tells me i owe vodacom money. i explain that I'm certain vodacom owes me credit and request that i get an itemized bill of my entire contract. so i can look over it to locate where my credit is / went.
the most annoying thing ever, they literally send me someone elses bill. after all the security questions. me having to provide my ID, address , etc. they send me someone elses bill?? is this even legal? im pretty sure thats not great. now one month after ive expected my contract to be over and never have to hear from vodacom again, they debit me for double the amount I usually pay, and this is after me actaully getting a hold of someone and them ensuring me they will sort everything out.
so in short, vodacom literally *****s from me, i get no support to get my money back, then i get constantly harrassed by vodacom, for them to ***** more money from me. i seriously think vodacom is up to some really ***** practices, this isnt the first horror story ive heard from vodacom
