Worst Service from vodacom fibre
I am extremely frustrated with the way Vodacom has handled my fibre relocation request.
On 15 July 2025, I engaged with a consultant (Pelisa) after visiting the Vodacom Sandton City store regarding the relocation of my fibre line. I was informed that no product could be offered in the new area and asked for further guidance.
On 16 July 2025, a relocation order (SO***) was created. I later received an email on 1 August 2025 from another Vodacom consultant (Noluvo Sais), confirming that the 1-month calendar notice period would end on 14 August 2025, after which the line would be released.
However, when I called Vodacom last week Wednesday, I was told that the order had been incorrectly placed and would need to be cancelled. To make matters worse, I then received a call from another consultant stating that my 30-day calendar notice would now only end on 1 September 2025.
This is completely unacceptable. Vodacom’s own written communication clearly states that the notice period ends on 14 August 2025. Shifting the date to 1 September is not only contradictory but also causes unnecessary delays and inconvenience.
I am requesting the following:
1. Written confirmation that the notice period ends on 14 August 2025 as originally communicated.
2. Immediate rectification of the incorrectly placed order.
3. Assurance that my line will be released on the communicated date without further shifting of timelines.
This level of poor communication and inconsistency from Vodacom Fibre is unacceptable and needs urgent resolution.
