Worst service ever recieved!!

Good day all

In October 2016 I decided that I no longer need Vodacom be my cellular provider.

I requested three qoutes for pre mature cancellation at the Vodacom shop @ Langeberg Mall, Mosselbay , Western Cape.

The qoutes for the three lines was presented to me by a staff member and I paid each one individualy. The lady then told me that THEY will forward the mentioned documents to Vodacom head office where it will be handled by Contract Retension/ Cancelation dept.

I the following Months I kept on recieving SMS that stated the one Account ( Data) is in Arrears. I went backbto the VODACOM SHOP @ LANGEBERG MALL , MOSSELBAY, WESTERN CAPE with my proof of payment and was reassured that the documentation has indeed been send throuhg.

Following this I recieved a SMS in March/April wich stated that this account has now been suspended and is currently handeld by VODACOM LEGAL DEPT.

I then phone the call centre number ( ********** ) to find out why will this have happend seeing that these lines should have been disconnected months ago.

The call centre then informed me that they do not have record of any cancelation document regarding the specific number although the other two lines was sucsessfully disconnected.

A person by the name of Lindelani then told me to resend the proof of payment to his personal email so that the matter could be resolved and a service request was also logged he told me.

I send the document to
********** wherein I stated the request for the line to be discontinued .

This was done 20 April 2017 @ 12:37 (GMT)

Today , 12 June 2017 I recieve a letter from my bond originator telling me that Vodacom has gone forward as to Blacklist/ ITC me because of outstanding amounts on said account.

I welcome any feedback from Vodacom customer care Management as I will now refer this matter to the Credit/Consumer Ombudsman with a formal letter from my lawyer in the hope that we can finally resolve this matter.

To me it is obvious that there was a mistake made either by the Head office or the Vodacom shop seeing that All Three Accounts were paid on the same date and only two got cancelled.

Regards

Mr. G Jansen Van Rensburg

+258 84 **********
