Worst Service ever
1) I have phoned to do a upgrade in end of 2016 it was a Friday. Saturday I called Vodacom up grade departments to cancel . They said I should phone on Monday to cancel the upgrade. Monday i called the upgrade department to cancel they said it is fine. It to Vodacom so long to process my cancelation and Vodacom debit my account with +/- R4500. it is more than double what I normally pay every month to Vodacom. I called Vodacom about the R4500 debited from my bank account? Vodacom said that it was for the upgrade. i have cancelled the upgrade and plus the consultant never advice me about any extra payments. I asked the consultant to reverse the overcharge amount because Vodacom is putting me in financial difficulty due that i have other account to pay also. Vodacom consultant said that I could do a bank reversal and then pay my monthly amount via EFT to Vodacom. So I did so. Vodacom charges me R100 for failed debit because Vodacom made a error on my account. How is that. I was not going to call Vodacom and waste 20- 45 min of my day just for a R100.
2) May 2017 Vodacom said i owned then over R4000. Every time you try to call Vodacom on 111 & ********** you get send to one customer care consultant to the other. When you ask to go to accounts department you get put through to another customer care consultant that can't help you and you spend around 20 - 45 min a time trying to sort out your account with Vodacom and it is a all waste of time. I also queried why do I not receive my invoice and statements anymore from Vodacom via email anymore? The Vodacom consultant said that I did not pay February 2017. I emailed Vodacom all my proof of payments to ********** on the 03.05.2017. I asked them to please fix my account. i get now reply from Vodacom to say they have received On the 11.05.2017 i send a second email to Vodacom to find out why have I not hear anything from Vodacom about my account. Still i do not receive any reply from Vodacom about my account. it is a waste of time to call or email Vodacom because they don't call or email you back to sort out your account. 2) September 2017 Vodacom said that I owned them R6000. Here we go again. Called ********** the consultant said that they need to log a service request and will take up to 2 weeks. On the 05.10.2017 20h55 i had a mist call from Vodacom account. What businesses calls their customers at that time of the night? Friday the 06.10.2017 my phone was blocked or cute. I could not call anyone or Vodacom 111 or any other Vodacom support. Long story short. I found out from the Vodacom store in Piet Retief mall that my account has been suspended due to +- R1200. I have called Vodacom from my father's phone. Again a told them about my history problem with Vodacom and that i do not get my invoices and statement from Vodacom and that i always pay R2500 to Vodacom via EFT. How could I be short? I have asked Vodacom for all my detailed invoices, statements and itemised billing from last year July 2016 up to date October2017. how should a customer pay his account if he does not receive his invoices or statements from Vodacom? How many hours and times should the customer call Vodacom to get his invoices and statements? on Wednesday 11 October 2017 i paid the R1200 to get my phone working so long. It is now 20 October 2017 and had so many calls to Vodacom customers care and team leaders and supervisors and had no luck to get my phone working. it is still not working. by the end of the month Vodacom wants money again for the contact but I can't use my phone. it has been now 2 weeks and tried everything and it is still not working. The consultant said if I cancelled my contract then Vodacom is going to charge me for premature cancelation of the contract but i cant use my phone that I pay for. I pay for a Vodacom contact and other stuff like itemised billing but I don't get the service I'm paying for. It's like paying for a bread at a store and you can't eat it. What should the customer do?
