Worst Service - Double Ring T/A Vodacom Repairs Fourways Mall
My phone stopped working on the 10/12/2022 so I handed my phone to Double Ring t/a Vodacom repairs. I received an email on the 12th stating my screen was required to be replaced so I accepted the quotation to proceed as it is all insured with Vodacom. I was issued a job number ***0. Each time I called the shop, I was given different answers. I then received a call from the shop on the 16th stating that the mother board is gone, and I must give permission that all my data will be cleared. I provided the go ahead. No one stated that there will be a new job number nor did I receive an sms. I then called the shop back on the 19th and they confirmed my phone is ready for collection. I then go to the shop and wow, I was amazed. Firstly they started looking for my phone, then they started calling the store downstairs and still they could not find the phone. Then there was a lady FAITH that walked in and wow, I was told by the consultant that there is a new job number and that my old number is not in use. I asked “when did you sent an sms for me to know this and why did the consultant advise that my phone is ready”. Can they not see in the system that the number was updated without advising me incorrectly. I had a lady by the name of FAITH that walked away from me as she refused to assist an irate client. She refused out right to provide me with the new job number and walked away. I stood there not knowing how to react. Only when Faith went back to the store downstairs, then only an sms came through with a new job number(***6). Such brilliant consultants that cannot give proper information and when they questioned, they cannot deal with the complaint and chose to walk away from a client that has been with Vodacom for more than 20 years. I then received a call from Marcus who apologized. He assured me he will have my phone ready as quickly as he can but the part is on back order. I called the shop again on the 26th and was told Marcus is on leave and my part is still on back order. I write this today to make people aware of how I was treated and given the run around from the store and that don't care attitude is terrible from the staff. It has been 3 weeks since they have my phone and I am still getting messages on the old job number which is ***0 and no comms relating to the job number ***6. I am shocked as I have never seen a more unprofessional approach and for consultants to just decide to walk away from a client shows you how they value clients. If the part is on back order for months, I feel that no one will give a darn at the shop to assist. Owners of the shop must be aware of the poor client service.
