Worst service
My number ********** 994. On the 07 April 2018, I got a new P20 lite phone from Vodacom 4U at Clearwater Mall after my phone as a replacement.
I started using the phone I realized that was unable to answer calls because the phone would just freeze and could not pick up any income calls when ringing. On the 10 April took the phone to Vodacom Woodmead to be checked was advise to remove the screen protect maybe it the reason my phone is freezing which I did while in store and the gentleman from Vodacom called to see if the problem will continue which it did was on store for 45mins. The problem continued and was advise to take back the phone to Vodacom 4U Clearwater where I bought it because it an OBF because they cannot take it. On the 11 April got to Vodacom store was closed at 7pm. I returned again on the 12 April 2018 a lady assist me took back the phone. Gave me document to sign that I have return the phone she explained that OBF take 7 days to replace with a new phone. Unfortunately the no loan phone available for me to use.
On the 19 April , I called the store to find out if I can go pickup phone, I was told that the problem was screen protect that cause my phone to freeze so I need to come get my phone. Asked how can a screen protect make my phone freeze if it was created for the phone. I asked them to provide me with techniques report state that but to date have not received it. I told them that I did remove the screen protect at Vodacom Woodmead but the phone kept freezing. On the 20 April I called to talk to manager who told me that she would put in here SIM card and see if the problem still there, I told her that unearthly can she give me the technical report she said she busy she would come back to me. Which she has never done to date. Instead On the 21 April one of the consultant from the Vodacom 4U store called and begged me to come get the phone and use it for 2 days if the phone keep freeze I should return it because her job is on the line here I must just do her that favour , i told her I will not be able to do that because once I take it back and the OBF period will be over ; She also said she will esclate the matter to regional manager if I take it back; she begged me but I told her was going into meeting she should call me later. But that never happened. I called 22April wanting to speak to store manager she told me come get your phone the nothing we go to do for you. Lodge complaint at the Vodacom call centre still no assistance. On 24 April I called the Vodacom customer care to assist but was told they can't get through the store. Was later advised to write to hello Peter by Vodacom call centre consultered . I called today at the store early in the morning but couldn't get assistance and call the the call centre again couldn't get assistance. I very angry with the level of service I have received from Vodacom and I want my phone to be replaced I returned my phone within the timeline of OBF. Please assist
