Worst sales experience!

I received a call from Mondo Mobile on Thursday, 27 October 2016. The consultant stated that I was pre-selected for this "amazing deal" from Vodacom. R199 pm for 5 gigs of data. Because my existing data contract expires November, I gladly accepted the deal. The consultant confirmed that the turn around time is 3- 5 working days and the package will be delivered and deal would be activated. After one week, I eventually called Vodacom to ask why I have not received my package. I explained my frustration to so many people! I spoke to consultants in sales, after sales and the confirmation department. Same story, different day. Their response " The sale is incomplete. For two weeks no one could tell me why exactly the sale is incomplete. By the third week I called again to ask for an update, the 5th consultant told me that Vodacom did not actually call me directly, the call came from Mondo Mobile. Seriously! Like who exactly is Mondo Mobile? The consultant managed to provide me with there contact number, whereby it was round number 25 of trying to get my sale completed and my package delivered. After literally calling them every day, my package is finally delivered Monday, 21 November 2016 - Yes almost a month later! I immediately opened the package with the intention of using my pro rata data - To my surprise the line needs to be activated. I phoned vodacom on the same day and guess what, I was informed that it takes 48 - 72 hours for line to be activated. One week passed, my line does still not work. I called the activations department yesterday to hear a different story - No mam, it takes 7-14 working days for a line to be activated. Firstly - Why did I have to call to complete a sale that someone else will make commission of!

Secondly - Is there no process in place to communicate with your customers that Mondo Mobile is actually selling on behalf on Vodacom and that all after sales queries should go directly to them - That would have saved me so much time!

Thirdly - Why is the level of customer service so poor? If you promise a customer to call them back, you call them even if the feedback/update is not what they want hear, simple principle!

Lastly, I am extremely disappointed in Vodacom. I have been a loyal customer, always recommending the network. The overall experience changed my whole perception of the business. I therefore have to say that I DO NOT want this R199 deal with the R207 wifi router. I took it upon myself to try and seal the deal but I seriously had enough! Please do not proceed with any activations, I am no longer interested! Please do not call me to apologise, please only call me to make arrangements on how I can return the wifi router. I reiterate that I do not want the product!
