Worst Repair Service Ever - Vodacom Repair Centre

I booked in my 1st phone (Sony M4 Aqua) under Job ********** 7 on 17/07/2016. Phone was exchanged under warranty (received a non sealed unit, Sony M5 Aqua) and collected on 29/07/2016. After a few hours of using the exhanged unit, the phone started shutting down on it's own, and the screen froze during browsing. The exchanged unit was booked in, this time under Job ********** 1 on 30/07/2016. I was told that Vodacom does not swap out with new units (even if under warranty) and that all functions would've & should've worked 100%. After countless calls to the Repair Centre, they reassured me every little detail and aspect will be tested by their engineers in the Advanced & Quality Assessment process, and that the phone will come back working 100%. I received the phone back today (11/08/2016) and saw on the repair notes they tested by making a call.. since making a call and doing a "software update" tests every aspect of the phone.. After only 3 hours of use I had to go back and book it in again, under Job ********** 0, This time the screen started to flash blue, and then just go dead. If I manage to find a problem with the phone after 3 hours (only installed apps from the playstore to set up my phone), and the "engineers" can't find an issue after 2 weeks, how much qualification do they actually have? This will now be another 2 weeks without a phone. The lovely lady who booked in my repair tried phoning HO regarding the matter but they refuse to speak to me. I used my phone for work related matters and cannot go another 2 weeks without a phone! Not even an option of a loan unit. This will now be over a month that I'm waiting for Vodacom to sort out this issue. Not even to mention that I'm paying for a phone which I don't even have.

This has been the worst Repair Service I have ever dealt with. And this will be the last time that I deal with Vodacom. If I don't receive a sealed, 100% working unit soon, I'll gladly move to a network that appreciates my money. Even after 10+ years with Vodacom, they don't care.

Extremely unhappy customer

Job # ********** 7 (17/07/2016)

Job # ********** 1 (30/07/2016)

Job # ********** 0 (11/08/2016)

7 Hours later and still no call back. Should I consider legal advice? Vodacom has lost all it's respect from customers.
