Worst possible data service

In December 2019 I moved my Cell number from an MTN contract to a Vodacom contract having struggled 2 years with what I thought was the worst customer service possible. I soon learned how wrong I was. I use my cell phone mainly as a wifi hotspot to update my Xbox or play online games (that was the plan at least). The contract provided 20Gb of data during the day and 20Gb at night. With this deal I also got a wifi router. I soon discovered that signal strength at my apartment was very poor, jumping from LTE to Edge or sometimes dropping off the network completely. The consultant who performed the transfer was supposed to activate a service that would allow me to see numbers calling me on my phone as this service is not included on data contracts as with other service providers. He did not activate the service. Two weeks later I went to Vodacom 4U store in the same mall and 5 minutes later the service was active. After a month of unstable network connections I tried calling Vodacom customer care. After struggling 10 minutes to actually make a call with the calls being dropped I came through to a consultant who "refreshed the number on the network". The next day I went through the same struggle and another consultant did the same with no results. When I finaly had enough, I called them from another number but this time went straight to cancellations who informed me that I would have to pay a cancellation fee. I started to argue that it was unfair of Vodacom to charge me for a service that they were not providing and the consultant logged a query with the promise of escalating it. That was 2 months ago. Now I have unstable network connection that even on LTE does not allow data transfer and a wifi router that switches on and connects to the Vodacom network but does not allow data transfer. I live in a residential area in Potchefstroom and this is before, during and after load shedding. I urge everyone to think twice before signing up for two years of the same hell I have to endure every day. If Vodacom wants to know why I stopped my debit orders... You know how to contact me, if your calls actually go through.
