Worst Fibre ever! (Vodacom)- Intermittent fibre every month but debits full premium every month.

I signed up for a fibre line at Vodacom May 2020 during Covid19 to assist with home schooling and working from home. It is a month to month contract, but vodacom pays the installation fee to Vumatel which means if you cancel the contract before 12 months, you are liable for the installation fee. So you actually have to stay in the contract for at least 12 months if you don't want to pay a cancelation fee. Since I signed up my fibre has never worked 100% for a full month, yet I have paying my premium every month for a full month. My fibre is intermittently or gives a no internet message for at least 10 days of the month. I have logged several calls with vodacom to send out a technician to come have a look as I cannot pay for fibre that works intermittently. Logged my last calls on 04 Dec 2020 to ask for (1) a technician to come out and have a look, (2) to cancel the contract and request that vodacom waives the penalty as it's not my fault that the fibre doesn't always work and (3) ask them for a down time credit request. No calls were logged and I phoned back on 15 Dec 2020 where the calls were actually logged. Reference numbers: SR*** and SR***. I was emailed a cancelation quote which amounts to R1400 if I want to cancel the contract now. Both cases were closed without receiving a call from vodacom as to what will happen, just an email saying cases are closed. This happened on several previous occasions. Previously called numerous times and ask a manager to phone me regarding the connection issues. No one ever called me. Send numerous emails to CEO's office, '***'; '***' but not a single response received from either email address. I have just had enough of Vodacom. On a previous occasion, my personal phone contract was supposed to expire May 2020 then Vodacom extended the contract without my knowledge for another 24 months. I was furious and it took me months to resolve this issue. Can't wait for my husband's phone contract to expire March 2020 because I will never sign up for any Vodacom contract ever again. I am still working from home and cannot continue like this. I have been a vodacom customer for many years and feel that their service is at it's worse now. I am beyond furious and I would like vodacom to release me from this fibre contract without a cancelation fee OR credit/refund me all the down time for the past few months.

Good Day

Thank you for your response. However your statement is incorrect. My line was not active the whole month. I have called in numerous times and vodacom could confirm when my line was offline. At least 10 days every month my line was offline. Also with regards to the cancelation quote, yes a quote was issued to me. But if someone took the time to read what my request was about, they could have responded better. Due to the intermittent fibre line, i would like vodacom to release/cancel my contract without paying a cancelation fee so that I can sign up with another network and be online the whole month. I really don't have time for this up and down emails. I am on leave and don't look at emails every day. I would like one of your managers to give me a call to resolve this matter. Kindly note that I have already made a complaint with the Ombudsman as well who will also be in contact with you soon and they can investigate whether I have been online very month since May 2020. I am certain that the outcome of the investigation will be that I am correct and that I had intermittent connection of fibre since May 2020. Maybe make an effort to actually investigate this matter instead of this unacceptable response. And I will not stop until this point has been proved. Vodacom is robbing us....
