worst experience with Vodacom, RSA
Worst service by Vodacom in RSA - I am a frequent visitor to RSA and have been using Vodacom prepaid number with eSIM. Recently I shifted to a new mobile, and tried several ways to shift my Vodacom eSIM to my new device. (I have several other eSIMs offered by other service providers in India and UAE wherein the eSIM shifting to the new device happened within minutes through the respective apps provided by the operators without any need to visit these countries). However Vodacom app doesnt have this option, and at least I thought the same will be resolved when I visit one of the Vodacom outlets in RSA during my visit. Currently I am in RSA and I visited several Vodacom outlets and no one could help me to resolve my issue. At the Vodacom airport outlet in Durban, they mentioned its possible only in one of the big malls. I visited Vodacom outlets at Pavilion (Durban), La Lucia mall (Durban), and Gateway mall and none could resolve the issue saying that they have some system issue and asked me to come after 2 weeks .., when my stay in RSA is only planned for a week. When I wanted to meet the manager at La Lucia mall, I was informed that the manager is busy with a Teams call and can not meet..! Such a horrible customer service.... At Pavilion outlet, they tried to help me however in the process, they mentioned the security questions wasnt answered correctly and hence it didnt authorise the same, though the questions were just on the last date I topped-up my SIM and location. I just did the top-up at the airport just a day before however the system mentioned the info was wrong..and didnt authorise the same... Horrible experience with Vodacom and still this is not resolved....
