Worst Experience Ever with Vodacom

My issues started last year, whilst my Samsung S7 was in for repairs, my data bill had run up and I could not understand how that was possible because my sim was soft locked at vodaworld in Midrand before I could hand the device in for repairs. Once I picked up my phone I did not make use of it as I was still waiting for a credit to be passed, the credit was eventually passed in January 2017. I have not used the sim since then becuase the phone switches off. And I have left the device off ever since. I have been on the phone with your Subscriber collections department for +/-40 minutes regading my account, and then abruptly cut off. My account has been paid in full as per my latest statement recieved for July 2017. I called in to ********** on the 1 August 2017 to confirm reciept of payment of R3571.67 and was told by Lebohang that my payment does reflect. However my number may have been terminated ..... and that my enquiry will be escalated to a manager to request their IT Department to try and retrieve the number. Lebohang advised that I would receive feedback because my account was paid . However when I called the ********** number today, the 02 August 2017, I was given a different version of events, as the agent told me that my account had been handed over to a debt collector!!! Which was not the case on the 01 August 2017. I unfortunately did not take his name down but asked to be put through to a manager because I couldn`t understand how or what grounds was my account handed over to a debt collector to when Lebohang had confimred on the 1 August 2017 that my account was paid as per my invoice for July 2017. Thereafter I was transfered to a very rude Morena, who then completely ignored my questions around why my account was even handed over to a debt collector or why wasn`t I notified about my number being terminated. After requesting to speak to someone higher up in management to get this sorted, I was then transfered back to Lebohang by Morena who then advised me that my number could not be retrieved. I asked to be transfered to a senior manager who could provide an explation for the inconsistent feedback and who could resolve this matter and my call was cut off by the operator. I am absolutely disgusted by the so called number one service provider in South Africa. I will repeatedly copy and paste this issue on this platform everyday at 8am, if it doesn't get resolved, Therefore discrediting "Vodacom" even further because Vodacom clearly does not give a single care about my service of which I pay a monthly fee for with no hassles regardless of my useless device.

Expect the exact complaint on here tomorrow morning 8am sharp :).

Duane from your escalations team called me yesterday to resovle this and to get my account updated and my number retrieved and revert back to me with an update because I paid my account as per my July Statement in July. I havent had an update since that call at 09:13am. BUT this morning I see an email from Hammond Pole attorney............ section 129. Nice work Vodacom. Keep up the excellent way you do business. This must be normal business practise for Vodacom. First you confirm that my account payments reflects, you terminate a contract number whilst there still is a valid contract and hand over a paying customer over to attorneys.... I guess you dont care what this does to ones credit record either because you are supposidly the number 1 SERVICE PROVIDER IN SA. I will be sharing my experiance with Vodacom. Duane, I am still waiting for your update.
