WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE - KEEPS GETTING WORSE!!!

So a week after receiving my ported new Vodacom contract with Huawei P30 I'm still unable to access my mobile data. Vodacom has passed the buck from one department to another. 2 days ago they told me this issue was escalated to their Solutions Team and would be resolved the next morning - big surprise, still no data connection possible on my brand new Vodacom-supp**** phone 7 days after delivery.

I've now contacted customer care and been told the department who's handling this is only available again on Monday. So by then it will be 4 days since them saying "this will be resolved by tomorrow morning". I was given a long reference number too but doubt it's worth anything. All they seemed able to gather from it is that there's a request open...

Vodacom deceive around every step. They have an exceptional network but their Customer Service has really evolved into something atrocious. I can't understand why after being a client for about 5 years with 4 contracts now they insist on showing my loyalty is worth nothing. I will be blocking Vodacom's debit orders come Monday. I'm tired of this pathetic excuse for customer service. Nobody seems to care for sticking to deadlines or actually properly resolving this. I understand it is Easter holidays now but your customer service is just as poor now as it was 3 weeks ago when I started this mess of trying to upgrade one contract and add a new one too.

I'm going to start mulling my options at other mobile networks. I'm not paying for services I don't receive - you can take your phones and sim cards and I'll take my money elsewhere. I'm pretty sure the consumer protector would have a blast with this too because I'm going to insist on porting my business number to another network and I know Vodacom will try to fight that too. Vodacom thinks I can run a business without mobile data on my phone - what a joke!?
