Worse network
Vodacom has done it again, I have been having endless problems with the network from the time I app**** for the contract to date. I took a laptop on a 2 year contract. I was not told that the warranty only covered a year, 6 months before the contract ended, my laptop just crashed. When I went back to the store, I was told so many stories, and I was quoted R2300 to fix it out of pocket. Now it is time for the contract to end and I had to undergo the same nightmare again. Being told different stories over and over. And now they cannot find the recordings. I'm now again a victim of Vodacom and I have to pay an additional installment although my contract had ended on the 1 April 2025. Twice my call got dropped while speaking to Tariek and Thabiso in the cancelations department. I ended up speaking to their Manager and even he was not able to assist me. I settled to put in a cancelation for the end of April and pay the last installment of R553 which I was told that the last installment was on the 15 March 25. Nevertheless, what's done is done. I wish to never have anything to do with Vodacom again. The past 2 years have been hell. And I totally do not recommend Vodacom at all. In all things they suck!!! I hope I will not have to write another review, as it is I was told by the manager that after this installment, my contract will be closed come 30April 25, funny thing is that already there is an amount due of R155 due to be billed next month. I'm waiting to see what will happen, not to mention the amount of **** calls that I have been receiving on my Vodacom line that has more than one owner. How is that even possible. Ppl keep calling asking for someone that I do not know. Ppl trying **** me, by claiming I have won this large amount of money and I have to send my banking details. Others calling saying they from the embassy and they found ID and drugs and money that I'm sending. Wow, Vodacom will be the end of me!!!
