Worse Fibre experience

To Whom It May Concern,

I am writing to formally lodge a complaint regarding my Vodacom Fibre month-to-month contract, which was opened through a door-to-door agent named Jason (Vodaco agent). When I signed up, Jason clearly stated that the contract was month-to-month and that the first month would be free. This has not been honoured, and I have faced ongoing billing and service issues since activation.

Contract & Activation Details:

Contract opened: July 2025

Agent name: Jason

Agent number: +27 68 21

Contract was presented as a month-to-month agreement

I submitted my personal documents to the agent via WhatsApp/phone

Billing Issues:

I was told the first month would be free, yet Vodacom deducted the first instalment in July.

Payments were deducted again in August, September, October, and November.

No deductions were made afterwards, and without warning, my Fibre was disconnected.

When I contacted Vodacom, I was told I owed R3,088, which I paid on 2 December 2025.

My Fibre was only reactivated on 18 December 2025, despite multiple follow-ups between 2–12 December.

On 8 January 2026, I paid R429 again.

On 18 January 2026, my Fibre was disconnected again, even though my account had been paid.

On 20 January 2026, I called again and was told that my account now supposedly owes R10,048, which is completely incorrect and unacceptable.

Issues Experienced:

False contract information supp**** by the agent

Incorrect billing

Lack of transparency

Repeated wrongful disconnections

Failure to provide the month-to-month experience I was promised

Failure to honour the “first month free”

Emotional distress and disruption to my work and personal life due to Fibre disconnections

I request the following:

Immediate reconnection of my Fibre service.

A complete billing investigation and correction.

Removal of all incorrect charges, including the R10,048 amount.

Confirmation that my contract is indeed month-to-month, as originally agreed with the agent.

An explanation and investigation into the conduct of the door-to-door agent Jason, who provided false information.

Written confirmation of the corrected account balance and service status.

I have fulfilled all my payment obligations, and I expect Vodacom to urgently resolve this matter. Please treat this as a formal complaint and escalate it to the appropriate department.

Kindly acknowledge receipt of this email and provide feedback within 48 hours. *** Nosipho dyasi
