Word of caution to all soon to be pensioners

My mother who was planning on retiring went to vodacom, requested a settlement statement and was given a statement, PAID them settlement amount went on about her business settling all her other outstanding debt only to discover much later that she apparently still owes this ******* business and they have handed her over to debt collectors. Of all the network providers in South Africa I know most people will agree that Vodacom is the worst. If you ask for a settlemt statement from these people be PREPARED to pay even more than what's stipulated on that statement. Now out of her pension she must factor in Vodacom. I have taken the decision to pay these people off on her behalf but before I do I have taken it upon myself to go to every available public comment platform to warn all would be victims.

Keep a record of all your payments (never throw them away).

keep a record of all your communication with them.
