WON'E ASSIST IN CANCELING A NUMBER OF MONTHS OF PHONE CALLS! SO DISAPPOINTING!
I have called for MONTHS to cancel a number on my contract. Each time I am told that my case it being "escalated", that I should wait 72 hours to receive a confirmation SMS that my cancelation is complete, or that I will receive a call from them to confirm everything. None of the above have taken place. Vodacom has as a result been taking hundreds of rands from my account for a contract that should have been canceled ages ago, and still, no one is willing to actually do their job and assist as promised. Very disappointed and strongly considering leaving this service 'provider'. Would be surprised if they even credit me for the fault on THEIR part.

It would be wonderful if one of your consultant's could contact me, however, that is a false promise I have heard one too many times from your company. I look forward to (hopefully) hearing from you.

02 Dec 2020, 08:14Good day Vodacom
Thank you for seeing to the cancelation after the many months of begging.
I would like to query the cancelation of my fibre internet package I have with your company. I requested cancelation on 30/11/2020 via Facebook messenger (as it seemed that was the only means by which I received any valid assistance). I was told I would hear back from the cancelations department. Knowing the disappointing service I have received in the past, I then called on 01/12/2020 to follow up. I was told nothing had been lodged as of yet and as a result I would be required to pay for the month of December and the month of January, as a full calendar month notice was required. My initial communication for cancelation was in November, that would mean the full calendar month would be December. How is it fair that I am being charged because of your company's incompetency and inability to lodge cancelations when they are first made?
I would like written confirmation that I will NOT be paying for an additional month after December and I will have the fibre canceled in FULL.
Regards,
Rachel
