Without a phone for almost a week now
As advised by the call centre, I notified Vodacom a month in advance that would like to cancel my contract and convert my number to pay-as-you-go. I was sent an email on 6 March 2016 stating the following:

\The contract on the cell phone number 08*** will be cancelled and the number will be converted to prepaid on the 31/03/2016.

An email will be sent to you with the migration of the line to prepaid. This email is only for reference purposes and requires no reply back.

You will be required to recharge your account with a recharge voucher within 48 hours once the number has been converted to prepaid. Failing to do so will result in the number being deleted\"

On 1 April 2016, my phone went off-line and despite numerous calls to the call centre and what they call an \"escallation\", I now, on th 6 April, still have no phone with no network and no calcellation email.

Vodacom, you are leaving an 8-month pregnant woman who works 40km from home without a cell phone. This is totally unacceptable."
