WiFi Calling nightmare

I have a Samsung A30 contract with Vodacom which is enabled for WiFi calling. I was always able to make WiFi calls using my home fibre until the last 2 weeks (might be longer) that I realised that my allocated minutes have been used.

After contacting Vodacom via their chat, Zolile advised me that my understanding of how WiFi calling works is correct and that I should speak to my fibre service provider to see if any restrictions have been placed. I have received a communication that no such thing has been placed.

I tried the chat again and Marteniqeu, ends the chat after I type all relevant detail; a bit disappointing as another chat consultant did come on but I was not willing to re-type everything.

Nevertheless, Vodacom, please clarify: 1. Why are my allocated minutes used for WiFi calling as my data should be used and not my minutes. 2. I have used WiFi calling from abroad back in December but never noticed my minutes being used.

It seems like a waste of time to have a WiFi calling device with vodacom if they are just going to use your minutes.

Got an SMS stating my call was escalated to one of the Solution Experts. I then get another SMS pushed to me about Vodacom's terms when it comes to WiFi calling. I guess this is their way of SHUT-UP and PUT UP or LEAVE because it is in their terms and conditions.

You politely state "Beware of Phishing ****s," but your rules seem to be a **** to get more money out of customers.
