Why the hell did I go this route!??????

Due to personal issues I couldn't afford a contract, so my mother got a contract in her name which I pay for.

Firstly: When I got the phone, I inserted the sim and nothing activated. Upon numerous calls back an forth, it turned out that the lady at Vodacom Greenstone mall had given us the wrong sim! So immediately there is another customer with the same issue somewhere out there. I live in Centurion, so in stead of driving ALL the way back to Edenvale, I had to go do a sim swop which cost my R80 odd. Why am I having to carry the cost for someone else's mistake?

Secondly: The contract is supposed to comes with a R10,000 educational voucher, which I didn't get. I phoned the call center on Thursday 2017-06-01 and explained it to the consultant, who then told me that he logged it and that I would get a reference number via sms. Someone from Vodacom would then call me back within 48 hours and sort this out. I did not receive any reference number via sms or any other means, nor did anybody from Vodacom phone me to sort this out. When I phoned Vodacom again today 2017-06-05 there is no trace of anything logged regarding this issue. Also, now all of a sudden I cannot request it to be sorted out because the contract is not in my name. So why the hell the double standards? The first agent "helps" me and tells me it's sorted, and the second agent tells me something different?

Thirdly: I tried to enable cid on the line, bacause all calls come through as unknown numbers. I spoke to the same agent today 2017-06-05 about wanting to activate cid, but because I don't know my mother's id number, the agent called my mother while I was hodling the line, and returned to me saying that my mother couldn't answer some of the security questions, so cid cannot be activated. I phoned up my mother directly after and she told me that she did answer the security questions and that the agent told her that the cid was in fact activated. The only questions my mother wasn't able to answer was the account number because she didn't have it at hand, but, apparently the agent asked her another question.

What the hell Vodacom? All these issues in less than a month!? Can someone PLEASE sort this nonsense out and see that I get my refund on the sim swop; you can recover the costs of the sim swop from your sales lady at Greenstone who caused the mess in the first place.

How dearly I miss my prepraid cell C phone...
