Why is Vodacom not helpful after being in the wrong?

At around 09:02 today I bought 250mb of data.Barely an hour later I was disconnected from the internet.I did not get an sms for less than 4mb for either the initial 50mb I had bought earlier or for the 250mb.

I then tried to get an airtime advance. In the next minute when I tried to buy data with this R10,this had also disappeared.I assumed there was a mistake so I tried again. The response was I already had an airtime advance.

I then tried for over an hour to get help from Vodacom. Eventually I got through to Mengi. She said she couldn't see either the 250mb or the airtime advance and that I should wait on the system. This was an unacceptable response for me so I asked for the call to be escalated. She unceremoniously put me on hold for a further 20minutes before I was in the PUK menu...which then hung up as I did not enter details for a PUK.

1.Why did I not receive an sms when the initial 50mb was almost done?

2.What happened to the 250mb I bought after 09:02am?

3. Why did I not receive an sms when this 250mb ended?

4. What happened to the airtime advance?

5.I did not receive an sms confirming the airtime advance purchase nor the airtime.

6.The airtime I had was chowed after the 50mb as it appears the 250mbs did not register. This is not how this should be. Will this be reimbursed?

7.The consultant I spoke with was unhelpful and unempathetic. Why is this? Was she trained? Will the call be listened to?

8. The hassle I have gone through with this incident has caused me distress and a lot of time. How will Vodacom ensure a better customer service in future?

9. Since Vodacom is not keeping its end of my contract with them, does that count as breach of contract?

I would appreciate a full explanation of why I had to go through this trouble for a system error that wasn't caused by myself.
