Why can't i Change contract my number?
When requesting a contract upgrade, they do not allow me to change the cellphone number, forced to use old number that i do not need to use for reasons that don't concern them.
I thought the purpose of upgrade is too keep the customer but the only solution offered is that i must cancel and open a new contract, this solution means i have to settle the remaining months on the old contract which i am not prepared to do, i might as well settle it n be free from vodanonsense and move to a reasonable provider.

31 Dec 2019, 11:52Unfairly treated by Tech consultant at Vodacom Repairs in Sandton his name is Blessing. So I went there to book in my faulty phone and because it's a contract phone under warrant i did not take any document with me as all info is retrievable from Vodacom website. But the guy told me he needs to receipt of purchase which i did not have an issue going back home to fetch it. But before going home i had already filled in the form for booking it in so i asked him to keep it in the store n that i'll come back in 15 minutes but the guy insisted that he cant keep it he is busy.. while i was the only customer in the shop at the time. Even if he was busy i am sure there's enough places to store an A4 page. I also insisted that i am not going to carry around the paper and i left it with him. when i came back he pulled a new form and i asked what happen to the one i filled he said he threw it away. This Blessing guy gave me attitude from the moment i stepped in the shop. Very very bad bad customer services.
