Why bother employing a call centre

The call centre is a call logging centre. I may as well log an incident online and get a ticket number and some kind of real service escalation and sla. Everytime I call the query gets "escalated" and someone is attending to my query and will call me back.

It has been over 20 days since I logged the qery on my December double billing. I thought this would be ample time for Vodacom to resolve prior to my account being debited.... this is not the case. My account is going to be charged tomorrow for a service that has been incorrectly billed and I am going to be out of pocket because there is NO ACCOUNTABILITY FOR ANY SLA or CUSTOMER SERVICE at this business. If I dont pay I get cut off (with the frequency of dropped calls I wonder if I'd notice) but on the flip side there is NO ACCOUNTABILITY for Vodacom's ineptitude and arrogance to debit money from people when they have been NOTIFIED WITH AMPLE TIME TO RECTIFY that they are wrong.

Dear Client

Please accept our sincere apology for the delay in this regard.

Our records reflect that the credit for the double subscription was created and once approved it will reflect in the Vodacom account, reducing the balance. We have also responded to you.

Kind regards

Vodacom Consumer Website Team
