Where is the respect gone for the Senior Citizens

I was DISGUSTED to say the least when my Mum came home and told me about her experience at Vodacom - Watercrest Mall. My Mum is an elderly pensioner who isn't very technologically savvy but she does have a simple Nokia cellphone and she is with Vodacom as her network provider. All of her children work and we check in on her daily either calling or smsing her. Just lately (the past 3 months) she has been having trouble receiving certain smses. Her bank notifications and certain family messages (coming from MTN & Cell C) she receives however family members who are on the vodacom network who try to sms her are battling to send messages to her. She just never seems to receive them. This has caused great inconvinience and frustration in the family and we(her children) told her to go to the vodacom shop to see if they can help her. Well.......I wish we hadn't. Upon arrival she was met with a hello from a young African lady who she said wasn't that helpful. She explained her problem to this lady who proceeded to take my Mum's phone and go to her messages and responds in a very ****y way "there are your messages". My mother then proceeds to explains the specific yet again that she is only receiving certain messages. This young lady then takes my Mums phone to a gentleman in the back......says nothing to my Mum and walks off. We then go from bad service to worse service. This "gentleman" didn't greet my mum, didn't ask what the problem was....nothing....hell not even a hello....he just took the phone...did whatever and gave the phone back to my Mum. DISGUSTING service. My Mum is a pensioner and she should have been treated with more respect. She was very upset when she came home and her issues (she had more than one problem she never got a chance to explain that she wanted to do a sim swop.) still weren't resolved.
