When Vodacom are not responsible credit providers

I have a MyGig2 contract that I pay R345 a month for. This gives me 2gig daytime data and 2gig nightowl data. For the last year I have never gone over the limit, because when I did reach the limit, my service would be soft lock. I never had an issue with out of bundle rates, that is until November... End November my bill comes: over R700... I paid it as I it really did not have a choice... December comes: R2024.28.... I phoned them and asked how was that possible that I could use almost R1700 on data... they said I was out of bundle with a gig... I paid R1700 for a gig of data!!!! WHERE IN YOUR LIFE? So January, I dont use my ****le (I still have 1.64 gig left on my day time data and 2gig on my nightowl for January) and when my bill comes, I am charged for R105.22 for data usage. I phoned again.... To be told it was data used in December.<br> I signed a contract for 2gigs. That is what I can afford and that is what I normally use. When I am capped, I understand that my service will be locked. I can even understand if I pay a few rands because their system only update every few hours. But what I cant understand is how they can get away with charging R1700 for a gig? Irresponsible!!!
