When the dependence on service and support fails ...

I am a Vodacom loyal client and have been for over 30 years, I settle the amount due every single month, and with secondary devices, including 3 additional family cell phones and 2 data devices pay around R 5 000 every month. This month, 16 February 2021, my service was suspended without warning, and all attempts within my abilities, including calling Customer care, driving to a Shopping Mall to seek assistance from the Vodashop and emailing Vodacom have left me with no recourse. I was told by customer service to email *****Disputes and report my situation and I could not speak to anyone directly. On arrival at the Vodashop, it was verified that I was indeed not in payment arears, but a full Admin Block had been app**** to my service, The Vodashop consultant was very willing to make phone calls to Customer care and Admin on my behalf - and after logging a Service Request Activity report, informed me that I should expect some reaction within 12 - 24 hours. On arriving at the next wi-fi zone I was able to retrieve the response from *****Disputes to issue me a Ref number and the news that the process will take 14 working days. The 4 cellphone services attached to my service provider are all business accounts, mine included, and if lockdown levels have taught everyone anything, it has to be that working remotely, with intensified dependence on connectivity, is the key to survival. Vodacom would appear to have an alternate view.
