When is vodacom moving to the min packages of 20 or 25 mbps like the rest of the telecoms industry

Hi I want to know when is Vodacom going to implement the same packages as Telkom, Openserver and Vumatel starting packages from 20mbps or 25mbps - instead Vodacom is still on the very low range packates - in my case 10mbps - and the next level 20mbps is simply not cost effective. The problem I am sitting with is that our complex decided to go with Vodacom so the fibre equipment belongs to Vodacom, which means that the residents is now hold captive by Vodacom that is not lifting the mbps as the rest of the telecoms industry.

Below is an example of Telkom

Telkom’s new unlimited fibre-to-the-home bundle pricing has been updated as follows:

10/5Mbps moves to 25/5Mbps at R399 per month 10/10Mbps moves to 25/25Mbps at R449 per month 20Mbps moves to 50Mbps at R699 per month 50Mbps moves to 100Mbps at R899 per month 100Mbps moves to 200Mbps at R1,169 per month Customers on 200Mbps will get a discount on their bundle since they cannot have their speed bumped up. They will now pay R1,169 instead of the previous R1,399.

Even Afrihost and RSAWeb starting packages starts from 20 mbps and the current Telkom users get upgraded for free to the next level packages 5 mbps.

Can someone please answer me this question.

With the body corporate decided to go with vodacom it means that we cannot go to any other service provider for better service or price. I have asked these questions 100's of times to Vodacom when complaining about the poor network or no fibre network at all.

Hi

Thanks for your reply, that's the problem, you guys keep us in the dark - your last sentence basically spelled it out....customer you will wait for us - done!

Tell me how can I get rid of your equipment at my unit number if the body corporate has put vodacom fibre hardware in.

I really REALLY do not want to be a vodacom client anymore, as we get so much value for our money at other service providers....I want out of vodacom fibre....
It is not a pleasure to be with a service provider that is not taking the customer needs into consideration whereas we see this from most other service providers....they look after their customers.

Please let me know as I do not want your service anymore, I want to be able to decide for myself what option will be best for me, not forced because someone decided that.

Regards
