WHEN A MAJOR BRAND SIMPLY DOES NOT CARE!

Having migrated my number from MTN to Vodacom (believing that it would be better) and moving from a personal account to a corporate account, I then sold my company and started a new company. And that's when the battle began...

The object was to move my account from my old company to my new company. The process commenced in September 2016 and in May 2017 this has not been done. In fact I have now been informed that there is a cahnce that the process will be complete on the 9th of June 2017 but this cannot be confirmed.

Along the way I have been told, inter alia, that this is dealt with only once a month...that I am not credit worthy...that I need to present updated information at least 4 times.

What I have worked out is that Vodacom is so uncustomer-centric that they make MTN look positively professional...

Botom line is that I have come to expect nothing of Vodacom and so far they are meeting my expectations.

Official business reply:
May 19, 2017
Dear Customer,

Thank you for making us aware of your complaint.

Kindly be advised that a consultant will make contact with you in due course to assist with your query.

***Please note*** Beware of phishing ****s.

Vodacom will not contact you via Whatsapp to request your personal details

Regards,
Vodacom Consumer Website Team

bria****z rep****:
May 22, 2017
Despite the very "personal" assurance from Vodacom: "Thank you for making us aware of your complaint.
Kindly be advised that a consultant will make contact with you in due course to assist with your query.", I have heard nothing.

This organisation needs to take a long, hard look at themselves and invest some resources into customer service. I am starting to regret migrating from MTN over to Vodacom.

bria****z rep****:
May 23, 2017
Vodacom has clearly decided that losing a (approximately) R120 000 per annum customer is of no consequence. Shareholders should beware if that is the company's attitude. Is management acting in the interest of the company and by extension, shareholders??
