What SLA's?
I have been trying to get a senior manager or at least a department head to formally (via email) to acknowledge that the problem I have been having along with at least another 50 people has yet to be satisfactorily sorted after some 6 months. That there is a technical, planning and a customer care issue here. Three issues that are always shoved onto the Technical guys.
Please understand that I have been hearing the same BS from the planning department for 10 years now about upgrading the tower. It simply does not take that long to get approval or do planning for a tower upgrade!
All of us have suffered and I have lost a lot of prepaid data because of this ineptitude! Thus I am, on behalf of this community taking this to the Ombudsman.
I was told by your brain dead representative recently AFTER I had told her there is only ONE service provider and only ONE tower in the area due to hills and valleys, to seek another provider! I am sure your logging system can identify this star!
After some weeks of requesting this intervention by a senior management member, I will henceforth proceed because I have the necessary request on paper that no action has been taken by Vodacom to resolve issues.
He was obviously just going thru the motions of listening to what I had to say.
At 10h52 I get an email to say that as per our discussion this matter is now resolved!
NO! it is no resolved!! Our discussion revolved around Vodacom's inability to plan for an upgrade, resolve the obvious technical issues that have been ongoing for 6 months and being unable to stem the loss of data experienced due to the issues experienced!
Lance, you offered to log another technical call. I refused saying it would have no effect. They look at the issues and some clown closes the call without consultation.
This HAS to go to ICASA especially as my last TWO requests have been to discuss the issue with a SENIOR Customer Care manager at Vodacom AS PER ICASA requirements.
It seems that actually reading the complaints or notes is too difficult!
