What is Vodacom Fibre?
Vodacom Fibre? What can be said that has not been said many times before. When, not if, WHEN you have an issue you find yourself making contact with the support line only to be told that the support staff cannot actually support, they seem to be bound by archaic procedures that prevent them from resolving a matter.
For instance when you as a supposed customer upgrade your line speed your current connection becomes inactive, thereafter you spend hours with the contact center only to be told that the only thing you can do is wait!!
The support staff cannot directly connect you to a supervisor, they cannot connect you to the technical team responsible for your line activation and worst of all they cannot correct the issue with the own router policy which in it self is anti-competitive and should be addressed by the competition council. However you then decide on the point of realization that Vodacom actually doesn’t have customers only income generators and the loyalty is non existent to cancel your arrangement, Vodacom then has the mordacity to inform you that you will continue to have no service for the next 30 days.
A service that is not performed should be cancelled immediately, allowing a client to find service elsewhere!
I understand that the response to this will in all likelihood be automated via yet another AI service that will not allow a resolution anytime soon.
What I would encourage all potential Fibre uses to do is steer clear of Vodacom and look at the many options available, a great example is Webafrica!
Kind Regards
Guess how many people have contacted me? ZERO!!!!!!
24 calls, 4 days and no one from vodacom can solve a vodacom issue.
What more should a client do in order to get what he is billed for?
