What is the minimum requirement/s
Two months later and Vodacom still cannot tell me what their minimum requirement is/was at the point of the application. =====================================================================
Good day, I was at the store and was advised that all the documents were provided, but that I was declined due to minimum requirements not being met. My question to them was “what exactly is the minimum requirement/s?” they could not answer me and referred me to Vodacom. I have been trying to resolve this matter with Vodacom, but they seem unable to assist me on advising what the minimum requirement/s is. Vodacom has set this standard of the supposed (minimum requirement) and as a consumer I feel that I have a right to know why I have been declined (which minimum requirement/s were not met.) According to the National Credit Regulator (NCR), consumers have rights in terms of the National Credit Act (NCA) to: • Apply for credit. • Know why credit was declined. • Receive information and documentation in their preferred official language. • Receive information and documentation in simple and clear language. • Get documentation in their preferred delivery manner. • Receive statements without charge. • Receive their free credit report once a year from a registered Credit Bureau, and if evidence is available, question/dispute incorrect information. • Privacy. • Apply for debt review/management/counselling. Your feedback in regards to the above would be highly appreciated.
