What customer service? A concerned customer...

I regrettibly upgraded my cellphone with Vodacom, thus extending my contract by another 2 years. At the time I was promised 10 GB of promotional data for 30-days due to my upgrade. Wow, my wife got 30 GB at MTN. However it's been more than a month since my upgrade and I still haven't seen my promotional data...

Anyway after numerous interactions with *********** staff and many weekly e-mails week after week for more than a month the issue still hasn't been resolved.

Surely it can't take this long to resolve a data issue, someone just needs to login to my profile and allocate the data right?

I noticed a problem when I wanted to process my upgrade as I tried to phone Vodacom first, but I gave up when I realised they didn't know what they we're talking about as they couldn't answer my questions, which wasn't really complicated.

I then decided to try upgrading online, which was much simpler as I could structure my own deal and didn't have to deal with *********** staff. I also tried to enquire about my promotional data, but hit a brick wall once again with staff whom couldn't help me so I resorted to the internet agian and loged and enquiry online. Although I received feedback via e-mails and phone calls nobody whom contacted me could actually help me or give me an answer, which is really frustrating.

I'm not sure what happened with Vodacom's staff as I've been with them for 17 years and it's the 1st time I've experienced such bad service, which is a pitty as they're a great company with an awesome nework. It seems like their staff come out of the stone age as they know nothing and can't assist you with anything.

I own and run my own business and if I treated my customers like this I would be out of business today.

Come on Vodacom, it's time to get your ducks in a row, what has happened to a once great company? It's very sad and dissapointing when a great company becomes a rotten apple...

A concerned and frustrated customer,

Eugene De Jager
