What arrears? Is my Proof of Payment written in Greek?

I am struggling for more than a month now for Vodacom to accept and apply my proof of payment for the month of July 2021. Even submitting a copy of my bank statement to their pop email address and *** (supervisor) has accomplished nothing. A few agents has dropped calls on me while they are supposedly making contact with the supervisor to confirm. Nobody in spite of their promises, bothers to phone back when they drop the call. My contract has expired and nothing can be done until my account is up to date. I phone back every second or third day to follow up and resubmit the proof of payment. Some days I phone back so many times because of dropped calls that I am denied and are forced to wait for a callback which never happens. A Vodacom employee recommended that I lodge a complaint on this platform to get some positive response hopefully. In the meanwhile I am harassed with account collection calls to make payment arrangements to prevent my phone line from being suspended. . Even reference numbers given are opened and closed a few hours apart with no feedback to the client. Now I continue to wait without holding my breath. When are we going to see the end of this *********** monopoly from one of our primary service providers?

Vodacom's impersonal bot standard reply to be contacted in due course is probably living up to its expectations, because I'm still waiting to be contacted by a real consultant. Better still if they can fix their error in the meantime and apologize for the inconvenience when that call finally arrives!
