"We care for our customers"

So, 19 May I receive a call from a Vodacom consultant telling me that I am paying too much for my data. Currently 169-00 for 3+3. Now at first I am impatient because one gets tired of their nonsense. However, this lady is patient and professional and wins me over to take a new contract of 5+5 for 199-00. Device to be delivered within three working days. Damn, don't you love modern day professionalism? A week later and no device, I am becoming a tad irritated. Two weeks later, a touch concerned. So today being a new month, it dawns on me that these helpful people might consider slipping in two accounts even though I do not have the new device. I could have cancelled the old one if I had received it timeously.

So I phone them on ********** ....very courteously ask them if I will be billed for both. "Yes". Man.....I try to speak human to human.....no go. This is an organisation which just steamrolls with its rules.

So Vodacom.....I understand I am only the small guy and your shareholders will shrug if I refuse the new device, but holy ****....you lost the plot.

Kind regards,

Jan.
