WASP providers are *****ing money from consumers

On the 16 April 2016, I sent a complaint to Vodacom about their WASP providers. These providers pay Vodacom to be able to debit our cell phone accounts for "content services". Refer to email reference (003S~SCR4) and call reference (***)

These providers are dishonest and charge customers for content that they never provide, and in the case of my wife's account, for content services she never agreed too or asked for.

This is not the first time I have experienced it and it is an ******* practise and I believe there are thousands of customers who don't even know that they are paying for these sevices. They are effectively *****ing from people right under our noses and Vodacom is doing nothing about it. In fact Vodacom is benefiting from these WASP providers because these same WASP providers pay Vodacom to debit us.

I have done some research and some of these WASP providers don't even have proper websites and you sign up for content on the website by just adding someone's number. There is not even a mention of what services you can expect. For example, I could simply add my neighnours numbers and they are signed up. Just like that. What a ****!!!

I have sent Vodacom these screen shots and details of websites and they have done nothing but send me an SMS that this is resolved. There has been no refund to us and there has been no acknowledgment from Vodacom.

I am planning to send a complaint to ICASA and I am considering legal action as I believe these guys are *******.

It has been over a month since I laid this complaint on Hello Peter and closer to 3 months since I laid a complaint directly with Vodacom.
Considering I have been with Vodacom since before the year 2000 it has been at least 18 years. I would conservatively say I have spent almost 400k to 500k with them in that time. So much for loyalty!
I'm going to be making a change when my contract is up.

PROCEDURES FOR DEALING WITH CONSUMER COMPLAINTS BY THE INDEPENDENT COMMUNICATIONS AUTHORITY OF SOUTH AFRICA (ICASA)
Before ICASA will accept my complaint, I must afford Vodacom an opportunity for a relevant manager to make contact with me to resolve my issue.
Please note that this reply serves as my request for a manager to make contact with me and address my complaint.
However, I must add that I believe Vodacom is negligent in allowing these WASP providers to fleece consumers and must be held liable in any event.
