Warranty

Dear Vodacom

It seems your consultant Vincent at Crester Repair centre continues to refuse to assist . A few weeks ago I wrote to you regarding my phone being refused to be repaired even though it’s under warranty ( attached below ). One of your agents at head office contacted me l and advised that I was correct my phone is under 2 year warranty and I should take it back to be fixed , which I did . Last week I got a call from Vincent telling me that my phone has a quotation, what must he do with it . I explained to him that what Vodacom agent ( in response to this complain) had said and that my phone should be fixed, it was supposed to be booked in on warranty in the first place .This past Monday I went to visit the store only to find that Vincent had rejected my phone from being repaired at the repair centre , when I spoke to him he explained that he needs a written statement from Vodacom complaints and he refused to follow up or find out who called me from the Vodacom hellopeter complaints , he said he only deals with escalation to his department and he won’t find out and wont repair my phone . Can someone please call this consultant and explain to him that I have now been without my phone for almost a month now , he is stubborn , he won’t listen and doesn’t care at all about customer service , I don’t know who is supposed to call him or send him emails that my phone needs to be fixed . He said I should do it , I should find out that information because to him it seems like I work for Vodacom, and I have nothing else to do but to be doing up and down to the store and calling the whole world for my phone which I am paying for still to be fixed. After being a Vodacom customer for more than 10 years I really am considering moving to another network , including my family. Can the next agent who is going to call me , also call Vodacom repairs Cresta and send an email to me and Cresta Repair centre .

Complaint from before ;

Good Afternoon

I’d to file a complaint against Vodacom . I took a contract with Vodacom in July 2014. The phone has 2 year warranty and that is what I was told as per every other contract I’ve had with them . Earlier June 2016 I took my phone to Vodacom Repairs in Cresta for repairs as it’s not working properly , only to be told that my phone has no warranty however my contract is for 2 years and I was not told about this initially when I purchased the product .I then called the upgrade department where I purchased my phone and was told that my phone is still under warranty and can be fixed at the Vodacom Repairs .

Vodacom Repairs Cresta still refuse to repair my phone and refused to forward my complain to higher management . I was assisted by an agent called Vincent .

Please assist.
