WARNING never sign a contract with Vodacom

I purchased a 20gig monthly data contract on 01 August 2017 through Vodacom Shop Pavillion. I now wish to upgrade or increase my monthly data but Vodacom say I can't even though I was assured at the time of purchase by the lying salesman Ozayr from Vodacom Shop Pavillion that should I require more data and better packages become available I would be able to. I decided to get a quote from Vodacom to cancel my existing contract with 16 months remaining on it so that I can look at other Service Providers. Vodacom expect me to pay in R12093.08 (Yes, twelve thousand and ninety three rand and eight cents) just to cancel my data contract (no device) when the contract is for R329.00 per month. Even if I were pay the full amount for the 16 remaining months it would come to R5264.00. Any reasonable person can see that this is **************** by Vodacom. Please be warned do not deal with Vodacom or Vodacom Shop Pavillion.
