WARNING don't sign up with Vodacom

WARNING WARNING WARNING beware when signing up on a new contract with Vodacom. I've been with Vodacom for 17 years now and have had countless contracts with Vodacom. I signed up on a new contract, telephonically in March 2023. I gave the the sales lady my budget of R800 for this contract and signed up with a package I could afford. My monthly installment for the 24 month contract should only be to what I agreed to. This is not the case, my installment started at R799 and then went up to R853 and now to R920 in only 13 months. I called customer care at Vodacom and they basically told me that, they can increase the installment when and how much they choose. So have had a 15% increase in 13 months. I was not told this when signing up on this new contract and who in their right mind would agree to this term. The Customer Protect Act is very clear that when entering any form of contract that all fees and increases in the duration of this contract, needs to be declared and the customer is well aware of this. This did not happen when I signed up, so Vodacom, as far as I'm concerned is now another BIG ***** company that works outside the Law. South Africans take a stand and don't support Lawless, ***** company like Vodacom, rather support MTN, which I will be returning to when this contract is concluded. I will also bring my complaint to the Customer ombudsman.

Vodacom has just made my point from the my complaint. They can choose to do what they want and write a contract that allows them free willy to do what they want.
