Waiting over two months and still no resolution

Vodacom is definitely getting too complacent with its market share and is beginning to treat its customers like ****. This is only one of my many issues with Vodacom and I can say with confidence that come may when my cibtract expires I will no longer be a Vodacom customer.

On December 6th 2016 my airtime just went missing out of nowhere, I called customer care and the issue was escalated, the only feedback I have received from this was my reference number. I have called numerous times to find out what is happening with this issue and the only feedback I ever get is the issue is still open and has been transferred between many departments. The reference number even changed at a stage (because the query was closed and reopened) and I wasn't notified of this, I had to call to find this out. To this day the case is still open that is all I can be told. Move on the mid January I buy a J4Y bundle that should last for three day, on day one it works and then suddenly its not there on day 2, rather my airtime is used. Guess what, this issue too is still waiting to be resolved and has been moved from department to department. Today (16 Feb 2017) was truly just the cherry on top. I buy minutes (through J4Y), and my airtime is deducted, I get my free play every day play but NO minutes. I call customer care and on the system it reflects my minutes have been allocated but on my side they don't reflect, I follow the instructions of the consultant who assists me, and still nothing. I decide to check on the My Vodacom app and true to the consultants word the minutes have been allocated, however when I check my balances using *123# the mibutes still do not reflect and I am not able to make the call I want to make.

The sad thing is this is actually one of my smaller issues with Vodacom lately, I've been a customer for over eight years probably way more and this is the service I receive. Kudos to Vodacom for their customer service. It will sure keep us loyal to you *heavy sarcasm*. I just wanted the greater public to know just how pathetic Vodacom is and to hear what Vodacom has to say to this, if they will even bother to respond (speaking from experience).

To anyone considering Vodacom I definitely would advise you to stay away, not only is the service bad, but the network also seems to be faulty lately.
