Waiting more than 2 weeks!

Vodacom customer service is appalling. I lodged a service request with vodacom more than 2 weeks ago via their customer service hotline and via email. They promise a solution to your query within 24-48 hours but I am still waiting.

I have called the service centre daily since 1 December as well as emailing repeatedly and no one is assisting me with a solution. My issue relates to the fact that they claim my contract is 36 months but I never agreed to a 36 month contract. When I did my upgrade over the phone with their consultant, I thought the contract term was 24 months. She never once mentioned it was 36 months or even asked me if I want a 36 month contract. Surely this is *****? How can I be held to a contract term I never agreed too nor was notified of?!

I have queried this with Vodacom and all they keep saying is they need to find the original upgrade call to check. It has been more than 2 weeks since they first said this. Every time I call them to speak to an agent, they say it is with Quality to find the call and they cannot find it. What kind of solution is this? Must I wait indefinitely for you to find a call you cannot seem to find and in the interim keep paying for a contract term I did not agree to?

I am highly frustrated and disappointed with this level of service. I have been a Vodacom customer for many many years and do not understand how you can treat people like this.
