Waiting for 8 weeks for phone delivery with appalling service from Vodacom and Skynet
I have upgraded 2 phones on 27 Dec 2024 and have not received both the phones yet. I have phoned the upgrades department, the after sales department, the back-office department, skynet for a total of 25 calls. Holding on for 15 - 30 min at a time. I have had promises from a lot of Vodacom workers that they will phone me back. The did it in only 2 occurrences. My issue was escalated for 5 times with ne feedback to me. I have spoken to Mr Bafeer Toffie from the upgrades department that tried to help me with no progress. His feedback was every time he is talking to the after sales department and back office department ad has escalated it. I have since received one of the 2 upgrades 2 days ago after 7 weeks. This is after 4 calls to Skynet to push my own delivery. I still have not received the 2nd phone. This is after getting confirmation from Skynet 5 day's after each other confirming that the phone will be delivered the next day. When I phoned today 22 Jan they confirmed that it will be delivered and will phone me back because I told then that I do not have a SMS yet. They did not do that. When I phoned then the afternoon they told me it went back to Vodacom. More background: The initial address was for George, after Vodacom promised that the phone will be delivered in 3-5 days in Dec I requested the address to be changed to Pretoria. When it was not delivered as promised left for holiday and asked that they deliver it in George. After so many calls and not receiving the phone after a further month I asked that it be delivered at my Pretoria address. I am currently speaking to Vandisa Tageni from the aftersales department. I think waiting for 8 weeks for a phone after it was confirmed for 5 days and 25 calls waiting for 15-30 minutes to talk to someone is reason to be a very very unhappy client. I would love to talk to the Vodacom Executive officer of the Vodacom group Mr Mohamed Shameel Aziz Joosub or the CEO in SA Sithowize Mdlalose or anyone in the executive to make sure how his company is treating clients that are with Vodacom for 42 years. They need to understand that the people working with he public does not care, make promises and is so sloppy in their work that it is undermining the bottom line of the company. I know that the exec is not client facing but Mr Mohamed Shameel Aziz Joosub or Sithowize Mdlalose I dare you to phone me. I also promise you that I will tell as everyone that I know about this service disgrace if you do not phone me. Ref: Waybill K***, nr in question ***. Phone me on ***, mail: *** I am so fed-up you cannot believe
