WAITING @ MONTHS FOR VODACOM TO REGISTER A SIMCARD!!!

On the 16th of October I sent a letter to Shannon Dwarika at Vodacom for a new contract in which a prepaid number was to be upgraded to a contract number. The phone was delivered but it is now nearly 2 months and the number has still not been registered so that this business phone can be used. I have emailed numerous times and my emails no longer are rep**** to, although the automated replies informs that someone will phone. Without any contact from Vodacom, we are informed that the service request has been closed. Because I have made so many calls to Vodacom to get help on the matter, I can no longer phone customer services and my number has BEEN BLOCKED!!!! This afternoon I was promised 3 times that someone would get back to me. I asked for higher management as I was getting no joy with Shannon and she was no longer getting back to me to tell me that she had requested the registration and that it was out of her hands, which is the answer I always get. SHe does not answer my calls or my emails.

So now it is now almost 2 months without the phone which we urgently need for business. How is that professional service, Vodacom?

The one letter I did get, I was thanked by Vodacom for my "Patiance". I have no clue what that is but I definitely have no more patience with unprofessional service. I was also told that my 'RAEFERNCE NUMBER " was 312504. Vodacom, can you not ask your employees to at least run a spell check before sending out letters, which they must send hundreds of per day? I know English isn't everyone's first language, but if someone has the responsibility of writing letters to clients, surely they should know how to write professional letters. We have so many tools to help us these days that there is no excuse.

Our business has been with Vodacom for over 30 years, but with this lack of service and unprofessional conduct, we are seriously considering other options.
