Waiting 2 weeks for a SIM swap to happen

On the 26th of October I received my cellphone upgrade for two phones. I also received a new SIM card with each phone. So, I phone the call centre that evening to do a SIM swap, so that the new phones could be active by the weekend.

It's now the 5th of November and one of my phones has still not been SIM swapped. I have phoned a total of 7 times, and visited the Tygervalley branch a total of 4 times. On Thursday 1 November 2018, I purchased a new SIM card so they could do the SIM swap in-store,, but that was also not successful. Every time I get told they have reset the SIM swap request and then nothing happens. In total there is a request for about 4 SIM swaps on the system, but nothing happens.

My partner received numerous "SIM swap complete" SMSs on his number but nothing actually happens, and my phone is still not active. On top of that my old SIM card has been deactivated so now I'm sitting with TWO non-working phones, commuting to work every day without being contactable.

On Saturday I was at the Tygervalley branch again, where the sales consultant took my details and copy of my SIM card to send to head office. It's now almost 4pm and still I haven't heard anything nor has my SIM been activated.

I am SO FED UP. No one can help me, don't know what to do or just don't care. I don't know what else to do except complain loudly so someone will finally notice.

I have been paying for a new contract that I can't use. It's absolutely unacceptable. I WILL cancel both contracts if this doesn't get resolved in the next 48 hours.
