VoLTE/VoWiFi don't work & Recurring Bundles not Cancelled as requested!
It's barely been 2 weeks and I find myself yet again writing a post of hellopeter for yet ANOTHER issue regarding Vodacom. Their customer service has really gone downhill and nothing they've done to inconvenience me and not give me the services I pay for has yet convinced me otherwise. It's as if every request or raising of an issue creates more problems and the customer service team couldn't care throwing you from pillar to post on literally everything, delaying the resolution of a problem every time.
Even after resolving the fact that they couldn't connect my one brand new phone to mobile data and my promotional data on that new contract was barely touched as the first 2 weeks of the contract I was completely unable to use mobile data. I asked for a discount on last month's services on that line due to all the connectivity issues - and that was my direct business line so the impact was definitely felt - no discount received and the idea of which was treated with very little attention by the social media team last time too.
Now my recent request to customer care to have a 100MB recurring data bundle and a 50 minute recurring voice bundle terminated was obviously ignored. As I see at the start of this month Vodacom yet again allocated the recurring bundles I had requested to have stopped - I made this request more than a week before the new month so I wouldn't be paying for recurring bundles I don't want anymore, neverless, customer care obviously neglected to handle that properly.
Additionally, on Sunday 28 April (4 days ago), I asked customer care to enable VoLTE and VoWiFi for 2 of my contracts. The next day I found out they mixed up the numbers and added VoLTE and VoWiFi to the one cellphone correctly but not to the second cellphone and instead to my data sim (sure that makes sense?). Another day later I called about why whenever these 2 brand new phones switch over to VoWiFi or VoLTE they are unable to receive phone calls. If we switch the phones to 3G and 2G there's no problems. We are able to make calls as well as send and receive SMS when on VoWiFi but received calls are just sent straight to voicemail. I was told to wait 24 hours for a call back.
2 days passed and when I followed up yesterday again about the VoLTE and VoWiFi issue I was told the lady who initially assisted me had escalated the matter to the wrong department and that I would need to wait an additional 24 hours and that a reference number would be SMSed to me (big surprise I never received said ref number!).
Time is now up. Nobody at Vodacom has bothered to phone me about the VoLTE and VoWiFi issue. I was considering upgrading another one of my contracts but what's the point when the customer service is so lacking??
